Well, it was a bit cold and the winds were blowing steady. But, the skies were blue and sunny. It was simply time to put up a flight! The plane took off without any problems. The landings were great! It's cold, but snow flying is a lot of fun!  Just a reminder that we are accepting dues now. They can be mailed to Robert Ferrante or bring them to the meeting. You'll need to have an up to date AMA card as well. Also, we have our first Chili Flyin on Sunday, January 24th. See the posting below for more details. Please note the date change. We will have our first chili open on Sunday, January 24th, 2010. Well start around 12:30 to 1pm and fly until ??? The flying will be at the field, of course. Ron Miller will be making the chili. Bring your planes, a bowl and spoon, and let's fly! See ya there! |

We will have our winter meetings on Saturdays, at 11am, EXCEPT for March 27th. The March Meeting will be at 2 pm. They will be located at the Twinsburg Library, just as they were last year. Here are the meeting dates: Feb 27 2010 Mar 27 2010 NOTE: Meeting at 2 pm !!! Apr 24 2010 |

One of our newer members has lost a muffler while flying. He spent some time looking for it, but as you know it can be challenging. If you happen to find a muffler while out flying, please give Jeff Burke a call. His number is on the Officer Listing Page. If you are facing the runway, as if flying your plane, the muffler came off in the south east corner. Thank you. |

Please bring your rakes to the meeting. We need to rake a couple of paths back to the woods. If you lose your plane back there, the paths will make it easier to walk there.
Jack will mow the paths when he mows the runway. |

Our August meeting will be held on Sunday, August 30th, 2009, at 2:00pm. It will be held at the flying field. If it is raining, we will make a decision at the flying site to move the meeting to Sunny Lake, probably on the north end of the lake. They have a larger pavilon at that end of the lake and it is less used. See you there! |

Hello, Per FAA Notam, we absolutely cannot fly at our field, on Thursday, July 23, 2009 from 11:50am to 5:00 pm. Again, NO FLYING!! Thank you, Jeff Burke |
